The 3D view window permits visualization of the design from any perspective.

·You can rotate the view by dragging with the left mouse button anywhere in the 3D image. Just click and drag.
·You can also change the rotation mode, by holding CTRL, SHIFT or ALT as you drag.
·The mouse wheel zooms, as does SHIFT dragging.

Given these clues, experiment and figure it out... It's easier than explaining it.

You can also choose exactly what is rendered in the view. The whole hull. The hull top, or bottom. Or just the rail line. These choices are made by selecting the appropriate item in the left pane. You can also view the hull in a shaded solid form. Again, select in the control tree.

You can also enable and disable display of the rider, the coordinate system axes, and the center of gravity, and center of bouyancy. These options are accessed on the View menu.

You can also make the rider semi-transparent, by double clicking the "Rider" icon in the control tree.
