Some discussions in this help system, and labels in the software, refer to the coordinate system used by WaveCAD.
WaveCAD works with the following system:
The origin is located at the center, back of the design.
The Z axis extends along the length of the design, toward the front.
The Y axis extends upward.
The X axis extends into the screen. To the left side of the design.
The waterline is always at Y=0.0
Rocker lines are negative where they are below the water line !
