When you print templates to image files, the following dialog appears after you complete the printing options.
The controls are discussed individually below.
Image properties
The printing process takes place as if the images were paper. These controls specify the "virtual size" of the paper.
A printer might have an 8x10 inch print area, with 600 dpi. This would give images 4800x6000 pixels, at 600 dpi. For the sake of file size, and easy viewing it's easier to use a smaller resolution. 72 is shown here, because it's the default resolution for many image applications. The dimensions shown correspond to a very large sheet of paper (2200 / 72 = ~30 inches wide), which ensures that all the templates fit in a single "sheet" or image. If the templates dont fit on a single sheet, multiple images are created for the template, just as multiple sheets of paper would be created on the printer.
Destination directory
Printing to images can create a set of image files, not just one. These controls specify where WaveCAD is going to put all the images. Existing images by the same name will be overwritten!
Image names are chosen by WaveCAD with the following form:
Z123-01-02.bmp
The 123 is the station location.
The 01 is the x coordinate in the set of images for a single template.
The 02 is the y coordinate in the set of images for a single template.
