The "Load Model Setup" and "Save Model Setup" commands on the Model menu transfer all of the model settings that affect flight performance to (or from) a file. Just choose a file name and click ok...
There are four setups provided with HeliSimRC. You can create as many as you like, and exchange them with users.
The provided helicopter setups are as follows. Use the Load settings command to activate one of these setups.
EasyBeginner
As the name implies, this setup is designed for a beginner RC helicopter pilot. It's easy to fly. In fact, its unrealistically easy. So a beginner should master it, then move on to one of the more advanced setups before attempting to fly a real helicopter.
Gentle450
This setup is designed to behave like a real 450 electric helicopter tuned for docile performance. It will fly like a real 450 set up with a fairly low head speed, moderate collective pitch range, gentle cyclic response, and flybar weights installed. This is a setup suitable for learning hovering, forward flight, and stall turns.
Sport450
This setup is designed to behave like a 450 electric helicopter tuned as a sport flier would have it. It will fly like a 450 set up with a moderately high head speed, a full collective pitch range, strong cyclic response, and no flybar weights. This is a setup suitable for loops, rolls, flips and inverted flight.
Power450
This setup is intended to behave like a 450 electric helicopter tuned for maximum performance. It has high head speed, lots of power, collective pitch range, and fast cyclic response. This setup is intended for advanced 3D aerobatics.
